Chakra Flow-The Art of Energy Transformation: Parts I and II

Dr Kim Engard ND, LAc will be presenting a two part workshop on Chakra Flow and how energy centers work in our bodies.  This is an interactive workshop combining lecture, demonstration and meditation work on the Chakras.  Dr Kim will discuss the parallels between Indian, Chinese and Western traditions relating to Prana or Qi flow of energy.  Participants will learn about how this energy is utilized throughout our bodies.  Mental, Emotional and Physical Body Energy centers will be reviewed as well the basis for balancing these systems to promote optimal health.  Movement, Color , Sound and Healing Medicine will be used to give the participants a full experience and greater understanding of how these centers work to support our system.  Traditional Yoga and Qi Gong movement and meditations will be utilized during the presentations.  Previous experience in Yoga or Chakras is helpful but not required for the workshop.

This workshop in part of a Yoga Intensive with Mystic Heart Yoga Retreats in Bali, Indonesia and will be presented during the retreat week on location in Ubud, Bali.  Retreatants will be combining Yoga asana practice, mediation, lecture and interactive workshops during the week of the retreat.  This is located at Naya Yoga Retreat and is an all inclusive Yoga Retreat Center with Eco accommodations, Organic Food and Spa services onsite.  There will be time for hiking, cultural events and a traditional Balinese Healing Ceremony during the retreat week.  Please see Mystic Heart Yoga Retreats website for more information about pricing and accommodations.
